That's an interesting looking flower. Australia has some of the most exotic looking vegetation ... a cornucopia of diversity it would seem, especially matched up to the rest of the globe. We are battling with your maleleuca here, but mostly have it under control in Big Cypress National Preserve.
I have not seen this grey variety before. We have the pink ones growing wild in our mountain garden though. Nice shot and I like the unusual colour, what sort of birds/possums/insects does it attract?
Hi Lilly, this is such a beautiful photograph, thank you. Thank you also for stopping by my blog and leaving such a kind comment. Appreciated it very much.

I've never seen a flower like that. Good to be introduced to new florals.
Very unusual looking. I like it!
Wow, that's a new one to me.

I can see where the name came from! Very interesting shape!
Thanks for sharing!
ooh that is a wild creature, how wonderful.
Arija: Most of my plant photos are taken from the wild near my house. So as far as I'm aware, Grevilleas are predominantly pollinated by birds.
It almost looks fuzzy..You did a great job of capturing a very interesting flower...
Very interesting flower and I like the perspective you took in getting the photo.
Does look spidery.
This picture looks really natural - thank you for your visit and greetings from Croatia.
