Interesting flower, and one that I have never seen. I would be tempted to plant it in my garden, if it weren't potentially an invasive exotic -- always a possibility here in Florida to be weary of. I was marveling at the melaleuca on my ride up to Ft Myers Florida -- we still have vast forests of them, although we cut them all down in the preserve where I work.

I have seen banksia flowers a couple of times, but I still wonder at the shape and colour of them!! Wonderful!!
